Every time I go to my friend's place, a guy has one of these parked outside. I want one so bad, to throw a Grand national or el camino front end on it, and throw in a big chevy V8.

It should share noses with the El Camino/Malibu/Monte Carlo since those were all based off the same chassis. Now the nose from a Buick Regal/GN/GNX would be epic!

Is this in Iowa? A similar one was in our classifieds a wile back.

Random GIS one. The one I see is not in Iowa, either, though I'd love to see what kind of prices they bring.

You're right, but yeah the GN would be wonderful. My god. Probably super easy to put in too.

It was at some shady stealership for about $10,000.

That is cool, but I was thinking more along the lines of an El Camino turned 2-door Nomad wagon.
That thing does have clean bodywork, though. The SS nose is a nice touch, but the lines are far too square for Torque-trusts. It needs rally wheels, or something else aftermarket. Even Camaro RS/IROC wheels would be a better 5-spoke chrome design for this car's lines.

It is a Malibu, also common with the El Camino of the same years. Monte is also G-body, but the fender has a more pronounced bevel character line, so the pieces don't quite fit together perfectly.
An El Camino SS nose, with the sides that fit to the flatter El Camino and Malibu fenders, will fit directly. A Monte SS nose looks similar on the front, but the sides won't match.

Yeah, this was just a random GIS image of a black car like the one I saw. I would certainly do things differently if I had one.
